Papallacta Hot Springs
Papallacta is located in the Southwest skirts of the Oriental Mountain Range of the Andes, its 55 km from Quito. In the way we can find a spectacular view of the paramo with its rivers and lagoons. Papallacta is located north from Antisana Volcano.
The spa resort called Las Termas de Papallacta, offers to the visitor the opportunity to enjoy a night bath in one of there many pools with a water temperature of 45°C while there is a temperature of 2°C.. Papallacta is located at 3 300 meters and offers a bathing area of 8 thermal pools of different temperatures and sizes, 3 cold pools and one river-water pool. The lodging capacity is for 120 people. There are other services like hikes through ecological paths, horse back riding and visits to the Papallacta River.
Its richness in flora and fauna is another attraction with near 85 species of birds and 120 kinds of medicinal plants. In some places it is possible to watch some deers and bear of glasses.

How to get to Papallacta Hot Springs?
By car or bus take the Quito-Baeza road, after passing El Colibri it will take around 2 hours to get there.

Oyacachi Hot Springs
In Oyacachi they do Ecotourism and many families depend of it. The community offers different services as the hot springs, guided tours through paths, horseback riding, handicrafts sales and more. However the activity is disorganized and this make it difficult to reach all the benefits that the community has to receive.

Camping: $1.00 per tent.
How to get to Oyacachi Hot Springs?
Through El Quinche it's a road in very bad conditions so it is recommended to go in a 4x4 vehicle, you drive through Papallacta and in 3 hours you get to the main entrance of the Reserve.
Through Cayambe, it's an easier way, you take the Panamericana Highway toward Cayambe and after you go by the pay toll of Panavial you take the first detour right you drive up to Cangahua and from there you take a dirt road up to the entrance of the Reserve
